We all spend huge amounts of our time and energy in conversation with other individuals; one-to-one, in groups, by telephone, by email, at work, at the dinner table - How often do we stop to consider the results that our conversations create in our lives, at work, at home, in our relationships? How often do we actually pay attention to what is really going on in a conversation?
This 2 day experience unfolds through open-forum conversations, presentation of the WEL-Systems models and framework, and experiential practise. Exploring conversations through the lens of the WEL-Systems perspective, Conversations that Make a Difference invites you to consider:
the different ways that you receive information and the process that occurs to make sense of that information; |
the different ways that you communicate with others; |
the rules that you have about conversations; |
the power of and the limitations of language; |
the results of the conversations that you have and how to improve them; |
that conversations are opportunities for growth; |
the environment that supports conversations as opportunities for growth, and how to create it; |
the importance of context. |
